The Modern Steel™ Ultra-Grain® Plank door is designed to deliver serious performance with everyday convenience. Each door features a robust three-layer construction: a tough steel exterior, 2 inches of Clopay’s proprietary Intellicore® polyurethane foam insulation, and a strong steel backing. This insulation process fills every inch of the door, giving it outstanding strength and helps regulate the temperature inside the garage.
Tongue-and-groove section joints help keep out wind, rain, and snow, while a replaceable vinyl bottom seal in a corrosion-resistant aluminum retainer keeps dust and moisture at bay. Heavy-duty 14-gauge steel hinges and smooth 10-ball nylon rollers come standard for reliable, quiet operation.
Built for durability, the door resists rust and dents, and special features like the patented Safe-T-Bracket® and sturdy step plates make operation both safe and easy. Even window grilles are removable for easy cleaning.

In commercial settings, space utilization and space constraints are important factors in choosing the correct hardware configuration for your application. Clopay track offerings and options enable you to make the most efficient use of available space. Options include standard lift, low head room front or rear mount, follow the roof pitch, full vertical or combination of these options.
COMMERCIAL TORSION SPRINGS
Designed to counterbalance even the largest doors, commercial torsion spring assemblies can be designed for Industry standard 10,000 cycles or can be upgraded to 25,000, 50,000 or 100,000 expected life cycles.
